    Furthering your ritual practice

  • What does it mean to be a Priestess?

Priestessing, at its core, is a combination of two things—being able to recognize a need to move energy in a situation and then meeting that need with an array of techniques (the tools you assemble over time in your priestess toolbox).

We’ve all had the experience of being in a room of strangers or a mix of strangers and friends/associates and we find ourselves reading the room, reading the energy. We have an immediate sense of the people in the room—what is going on, what emotions are being carried. A priestess is someone who develops an ability to recognize the unseen energy in a situation and move it toward health, healing, empowerment, and wholeness for all.

Once unseen energy has been recognized (for example, tension, hostility, grief) a priestess develops skills to help name and express and move the energy with intention. She facilitates a participatory ritual, for the health and betterment of all. In ritual, sacred space is the container where teachings are used for her to serve.

    Priestess Training

Priestess Training is another—you guessed it!—year and a day course of study. This path is available to those who have completed my Year and a Day program.

The training is designed to nurture your unique path of service as a Wiccan, including basic spiritual leadership skills such as directing group energy and active listening.

The heard of Priestess Training is a project tailored to your particular call to service such as healing, ritual facilitation, teaching, or space cleansing. The experience culminates in a beautiful ordination ritual.
