I love weddings! (And they love me!)
I see weddings as the most powerful—and perhaps only—collective ritual we have in secular society. They can be portals to new lives, stronger community, and clearer values and life direction. The couples I work with typically are looking for a non-religious, inclusive experience that makes everyone—from religiously observant cousins to atheists—feel welcome and comfortable. I’ve performed heterosexual and same-sex weddings, pagan weddings, and I've co-officiated with rabbis and ministers.
I meet with you and your beloved to learn about your hopes, fears, and ideas and then provide ceremony drafts. We stay in touch throughout the planning process to ensure that your ceremony meets your needs and that you feel spiritually and emotionally supported. I will facilitate a rehearsal with your loved ones and engage with them at the rehearsal dinner. I’m solid and present on the day of your wedding: someone you lean on so that you can enjoy every moment of your special day.
